You can achieve great things with us! Your responsibilities at a glance
- Inspecting incoming goods, product samples, and new or modified packaging for damage, manufacturing defects, and compliance with agreed-upon specifications
- For packaging, you will specifically evaluate its protective effectiveness, stability, and ease of handling in the warehouse.
- You will document your inspection results in a traceable manner with photos and clear descriptions of defects.
- As the central liaison between the warehouse and purchasing, you consolidate all operational quality and packaging issues and provide structured feedback from the warehouse.
- Together with the warehouse, purchasing, and quality management teams, you coordinate measures and keep track of their implementation, outstanding issues, and deadlines.
- In addition, you support cross-departmental projects, such as packaging changes or the resolution of recurring product deviations.
- In the absence of your manager, you will take on defined monitoring and tracking tasks within the scope of your established authority, report regularly on the status, and escalate significant deviations in a timely manner.
Your expertise matters! Our desired profile
- Practical experience in quality assurance, receiving, warehouse logistics, or a comparable field.
- Technical understanding and a keen eye for product and packaging defects.
- A structured, meticulous, and independent work style.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively coordinate matters across different departments.
- A sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and the ability to consistently follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel and digital documentation.
- Good German language skills; English language skills for collaborating with international colleagues are a plus.
