We are looking for an Import Planning Team Leader who will be responsible for requesting and comparing container transportation prices as well as efficiently planning transports and supporting their team on a daily basis. You will ensure that containers are delivered to the right locations on time and at the best conditions.
You can achieve great things with us! Your responsibilities at a glance
- Organization of container transports: You and your team are responsible for planning and booking our container transports to our European warehouse locations and our main warehouse in Ochtrup. Your job is to ensure that our containers reach their destination efficiently and on time. You always maintain an overview and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- Organization of truck transports: You and your team are responsible for planning and booking our imports from Europe, to our main warehouse in Ochtrup.
- Communication: You and your team act as the central interface to our service providers. Thanks to your good communication skills, you coordinate the team confidently and quickly find solutions to challenges. You will also coordinate internally with other team leaders in our logistics department to ensure that the entire supply chain runs smoothly.
- Results-oriented work: Obtaining and comparing transport prices from shipping companies and freight forwarders.
- Team support: You are part of an ambitious team that creates a supportive and collegial working environment.
Your expertise matters! Our desired profile
- Experience in the logistics / transportation sector, desirable in the area of container transport.
- Experience in managing employees.
- Strong planning and coordination skills, you always maintain an overview.
- Good negotiating and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and accuracy in processing price information and transportation plans.
- Knowledge of customs clearance.
- Confident handling of Excel and logistics systems.
- Good knowledge of German and English.
- A quick grasp, a high level of commitment, strong teamwork skills and a structured way of working characterize you.
