You can achieve great things with us! Your responsibilities at a glance
Planning and coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Obtaining, comparing, and negotiating shipping quotes.
- Calculating shipping costs and preparing appropriate quotes.
- Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring a smooth transport process.
- Organizing transport and customs documents and providing support with import and export procedures.
- Working closely with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments to continuously optimize logistics processes.
- Monitoring warehouse processes.
Your expertise matters! Our desired profile
- Completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or a comparable business qualification.
- Experience in the field of transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, price calculation, and preparing quotes.
- Ideally, experience in customs clearance as well as in import and export operations.
- Strong organizational skills, a structured approach to work, and a good sense of priorities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for collaborating with customers and logistics partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and, ideally, experience with ERP systems.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
