We are looking for a Container Coordinator who will be responsible for requesting and comparing container transport prices as well as efficiently planning the transports once the prices have been accepted. You will ensure that containers are delivered to the right locations on time and on the best terms.

We are looking for a Container Coordinator who will be responsible for requesting and comparing container transport prices as well as efficiently planning the transports once the prices have been accepted. You will ensure that containers are delivered to the right locations on time and on the best terms.
You can achieve great things with us! Your responsibilities at a glance
- You will obtain transport quotes from shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport companies.
- You will compare quotes and prepare them for approval.
- Once approved, you plan and coordinate container shipments to our warehouse locations.
- You liaise with freight forwarders, warehouses and internal departments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- You reliably update transport data and rates in our systems.
- You keep track of delivery dates and assist with the organisation of our shipments.
Your expertise matters! Our desired profile
- A completed commercial apprenticeship or initial work experience in logistics, transport or freight forwarding.
- Motivated career changers with organisational skills are also welcome.
- You work meticulously and in a structured manner, and are able to keep track of things even when juggling multiple tasks.
- You are comfortable using MS Office and pick up new programmes quickly.
- You enjoy communicating with a variety of contacts.
- Good command of German and English.
